A Virtual Workshop for Virtual Teams

Virtual teams
...are teams whose members are not all co-located with each other or with their managers.

Virtual teams are a necessity in today’s world. A single virtual team might consist of members who are in many different locations around the globe. As long as organizations do business globally, and travel budgets are being cut, virtual teams are here to stay. Helping them work effectively together is what we do.

Much of what works for co-located teams also works for virtual teams. But there are significant differences and, if not recognized and addressed, these differences will cause a virtual team to fail.

This workshop...

Teaches the four major differences between co-located and virtual teams
Engages participants in experimenting with what works and what does not in their environment
Provides feedback loops that enable team members and team leaders to learn from each other
Offers the latest research data on virtual teams
Provides instruction virtually

The format
...of the workshop accommodates the unique needs of virtual teams by offering learning opportunities via email, telephone and Internet meeting.
