"...I am particularly proud of how these businesses are incorporating triple-bottom-line approaches—profit, community and environment—to their respective businesses. I believe wholeheartedly that a new form of capitalism is emerging. More stakeholders (customers, employees, shareholders, and the larger community) want their businesses to think, to act, to feel, and to be connected with the larger context. That is spirituality in action. And that is what I'm about."

—Mats Lederhausen, CEO of McDonald's Ventures

About Changing consultants have served organizations from a wide range of industries operating under a variety of organizational structures. Our approach has resulted in many successful engagements, including:

S.C. Johnson
By clarifying "The Four Ps" (Purpose, Principles, Practices, Plans) for S.C. Johnson's national sales teams and sales team leaders, About Changing enabled them to enhance team startup with a hit-the-ground-running approach that rapidly coordinated the teams' efforts.

Honeywell Defense Avionics
Honeywell Defense Avionics in Albuquerque, NM, had failed to meet budget and customer expectations. The division had not turned a profit in several years. Our consultants implemented a team-based organization that engaged the workforce in decision-making and process improvement. The division moved from the lowest possible customer ratings to the highest, made a profit and became a model division within the company at large.

U.S. Dept. of Energy
Kirtland Air Force Base employees needed to learn to live effectively in an uncertain environment. After receiving individual coaching, managers and employees were able to make the changes needed to function in the organization and in their personal lives.

Santa Fe County
About Changing worked closely with the Santa Fe County Manager to assist one division in reinventing themselves with new structures and more inclusion than old command-and-control models. The result: they collaborated within the context of a unionization process to actually build a stronger team rather than intensify polarities.
